My prayer life has really been tested lately. I’ve spent a lot of time talking to God in the past few days, and one of the things that keeps coming up is that I can have endurance to face the day. Not just today, or tomorrow, but all the days ahead.
The things of this world have made me weak. I’ve felt stretched to the point of exhaustion, and I could not find solace in anything except the comfort of God. There really is no greater feeling than knowing that God is there, telling me that above all things, I am his son, and I will endure.
Stress and being unsure of what to do next is a normal part of life, and it can be seen in two lights. The first is that It’s something that we brought upon ourselves, and that because of this fact, we can take care of it ourselves. The second is that we (once again) need a wakeup call from God.
Life is hard. It is such a relief to have the Creator of the Universe walking with us whispering that we will be okay and that He loves us more than we can imagine. So, to everyone who reads this, have faith that God will give you endurance to face your day because He knows your pain, and He will never leave your side.
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12
